is this exhaust setup any good?
is this worth my money? I want something that looks good, and wont attract the cops attention. Running arround town with no muffler got their attention finally, now ive got 30 days to get a muffler on her. I dont wana go back stock, if im gona spend the cash, I at least wana get an upgrade outa the deal LOL
any comments on this? I dont wana spend more then 350. but I WANT dual exhaust.

Trubendz.com has a nice catback for $325, they use magnaflow mufflers so it's better quality than the top speed. Just the rear section is $250 if money is tight.
You can do a custom setup with any camaro/firebird specific muffler: viewtopic.php?t=30465&highlight=
I think I spent $200 on mine, sounds good and not too loud.

Quote="Any modification from stock factory equipment is illegal just depends on the cop" so your telling me that I can put a whole new setup under there, with the REQUIRED muffler, have it be as quiet as it was stock, and he can still write me a ticket? sorry, but that doesnt sound right. I'll have to ask him.

Hmm
thanks for the info random, I wasnt trying to call you a liar, or say you were BS'in me. I dont think It will be a problem however, bacause Nebraska no longer has vehicle inspections. It may sound louder, but there is a muffler there..... LOL

That member has it installed in his car. He provided a sound clip for me once. I can't find the link for it though. Get in touch with him, he should be able to answer your questions and concerns.

the quote in this is correct. OEM or OEM replacement exhausts are the only street legal exhausts in most states.randomZERO wrote:If it wasnt what came on the the car its modified and hence is illegal.
