Get a Zune
...But seriously - doesn't Crapple have a tech forum for that kind of stuff? You could probably find out all you need there.

idk how ipods work, but i can only sync my iphone to 1 itunes music library at once.
i can sync to 5 different computers, but i can't pull music randomly from all 5. i have to make the choice of which library to sync to, and if i sync to one other than what's already loaded on my phone, all current music gets wiped off and i have to load from the new library. it fuckin sucks.
while i can't help with your actual problem, i'd suggest taking all the music you want from the other computer and transferring it to the new itunes thru a flash drive before you sync to it.

Get one of those sweet Zunes and rent you music monthly...OR!
Or...you can DL "anapod" or "ephpod" to rip the music off your iPod to your new computer if you don't want to transfer it manually. You can only sync music to an iPod, not take it off it and put it onto another computer.
