has any1 done the new update on the iphone???
i read there are some bugs and slows down the phone, so have not done it yet.

Yes I've been running OS 3.0 since about an hour after it was released and it works just fine.

No problems here...it's running faster than it used to, though I jailbroke mine and had a lot of random stuff on it.

I had mine jailbroken on the previous OS and found I didn't use the jailbroken apps ever really, so I put it back to regular on 3.0

Well aren't you fuckin magical. No I'm computer literate and followed all the steps to the t and nothing it tells me that my firmware doesn't match running through the owned software. I also gave up cause I don't wanna brick my phone but if you guys got somethng else or tips shoot them my way.

Had two pearls and my wife currently has a curve. The pearls would randomly delete texts and would never fully charge. The curve is ok. Before they released the panoramic texting for the iphone I wished I would have got a storm but now im happy with it.

Nah, I've had one since first release, sicking with my 3G for now due to the new phones glitches, but will get one when 3.0.1 comes out.

Buy an Iphone, you WILL NOT regret it.

You can get whatever one you want. As long as it's running 3.0, you get that feature.

<---2G unlocked, jailbroken on T-Mobile iPhone owner...and a G1 owner and I still love my iPhone more. Although the myTouch is like a nice balance of them both. We shall see.

The 3GS is nice and all if you want to spend the money but if you wanna be cheap, the 3G is not a technilogicaly advanced, but it will do everything the 3GS will do, just a bit slower. Other than that, it's basically the same.
