those ebay coilover sleeves..
i have some questions about them...
1. hows their quality? good bad, average?
2. what kind of damage if any, do they do to the struts. i have tokico blues, supposed to dampen lowered rides well just not dramaticly
3. does anyone have pictures of them installed or anything? (of the drop)
thanks

You should be damn low with the set-up you have. Those sleeves wont get you any lower, from posts I've seen. Even if you did, your struts would be shot. Just from previously posted material. Save up for a while, or just deal with the height you're at. Not much lower than you already are without some CO's.
el. oh. el.
check out my cardomain i have them installed on tokico blues too they ride like crap honestly.... i hate them but i dont have the money for springs.. and these were only $50 but the lowering capabilities are decent.. i have pretty good drop on mine... but ya feel free to ask any other q's

Notes: There are 3 right ways to lower one of these cars:
Mopar SRT stg1 springs with R/T or SRT struts
H&R/Hotchkis/S-tech springs with Konis or Illuminas
Eibach pro-street coilovers/Mopar KW coilovers
Pick your poison
A couple points:
There are 2 sorts of "coilovers"
Spring and sleeve- commonly called e-bay coilovers even though ground control also makes them. A set of these and good dampers will outperform ANY of the commercially available coilovers for these cars(save Motons)
"Real" Coilovers- BC, Ksport, D2, Tein, Megan ignore for a second that these are usually built by 4 year old Malaysian children and arent designed by people who know anything about shocks.
If you want to lower the car for the least amount of money Id go with R/T or SRT struts and the mopar SRT stg1 springs they arent the lowest thing in the world but they are one of the stiffer springs on the market.
When you take height away from a spring it has to accomplish the same amount of work in a shorter stroke therefore the spring rate must be higher. Many people equate the blowing of struts with overly high spring rates this is not the case, the damper is over worked in a certain range of motion as the drop negates however much it is in compression travel. A 1" drop spring costs you 1" of compression travel however droop travel remains the same as the strut can extend past the spring if the weight is taken off of it(picking up a rear wheel in a corner for example). A good starting point is every 1" of travel lost requires 50lbs of spring rate so 2" drop springs(sportlines, dropzone, a few others) should be 225lb springs for the front. Remember you only have about 3" of compression travel in the front before you hit the bumpstops.
The biggest tip I can give you:
DO NOT CUT THE BUMP STOPS regardless of what the instructions that come with your springs say dont do it. You only have about 1" of bump stop on these cars before piston hits case and bad things happen to your struts.
If all this sounds too much for you save your pennies and get the Eibach pro-street coilovers $1000 and you can dump the car as far as you want plus the Eibach people can make a shock. If you call them with exactly what you want to do they can custom valve and spring the coilovers. However I would expect them to say that the stock pro-street stuff is correct for that.
Ive gone over the spring and sleeve coilover thing before please go read it

Are you kidding?... I thought you had Stage 1s?03wingswestR/T wrote:i'm dropped on them! little bouncy but i get better 60' times hahaha
OP - please don't do it. They're cheap for a reason -- because they suck. This has been covered many times and it's always concluded that they are junk and ride like shit. If that wasn't the case, people wouldn't pay $900+ for legitimate coilovers. Just stick to the Eibachs for now until you can afford some Megan coilovers which are the cheapest I think. That's what glasswars has and I've never heard him complain about them.

man stealing a gas tank is hXc.
sooooo i bought a set of these, for shits and giggles. i got them in today. i may install them soon. ill ride on them for a day. see how i like the ride. if i dont like them, ill just garbage them and back with the wonderful pro-kits. either way, its an alternative to being lower until coilovers. i dont care if i blow the struts, done it before, and didnt even know. its not like i will sit on the ground like i have air-ride suspension or something. oh well.
ill let everyone know my misery, or happiness in a few days to a week.

i hated mine, they gave the car good handling, but besides that forget just a causal drive, my kidneys will never be the same, i am set up on kyb struts, and eibach sportline springs, alot happier, and really about the same stance as with the cheap coilovers
