Being a traditional fan that grew up on the 80s show, I was not impressed at all with the 2nd film. The 1st one gave me that "watching Saturday morning cartoons" feeling all over again but this one was just your typical Bay film with too many explosions and not enough plot. I thought it started off well, but was too long, last hour dragged on and I won't spoil any of it, but had some absolutely retarded stuff with regards to Transformers in general.

I just watched it on my computer. I liked it. Will probably watch it in theaters to get the full "effect".

I loved it. I thought it had too much cursing, too much idiot twin robots (knew I'd hate them from the start) and too much "sexy girl" stuff. I mean, the movie will sell itself, don't act so desperate by having to add all that other stuff in it. I won't be buying the movie.

Half of it was a US Army ad, the other was an ad for GM. Sure it was an exciting movie, but as someone said, it was still your typical Michael Bay film.

The only folks I hear that are complaining about the movie are the guys that want it to bring back the old Transformers....

This is a movie... it's made to be action packed and lot's of entertainment

Theres a lot of explosions which is awesome...and action.

Theres no robot on robot action walking down the beach and watching the sun set if that is what you're looking for.

Good movie... I'll buy it on blu ray for sure when it comes out.

I don't want the traditional Transformers, like I said, the first film is awesome. I just don't like how they get so far away from the cartoon in terms of the robots and some of the ridiculous things they cooked up in the last hour of this movie. It was enjoyable for awhile, but I think it was the length that bothered me. Towards the end it just seemed like they were reaching for ideas. I mean Autobot heaven...come on..lol.

Saw it the day it came out, a friend dragged me there. I thought it was decent. First one was decent too. Typical run of the mill all-ages style movie; dorky humor, good graphics, and a lot of corny moments. WAAAAAY TOO LONG.

WEll if u dint realize its a fictional movie, based on a fictional cartoon. Of course theres tons of shit that dont make sense ITS A MOVIE!

Questioning this VVVV
4. That reminds me: even if I were to forgive the Doctor's German accent -- and director Michael Bay is asking me to forgive a lot of ridiculous accents -- why would a robot need glasses? He has little lenses that flip in front of his mechanical eyes. Couldn't he just get his eyes adjusted? You'd think with all the laser guns, someone could perform a Lasik procedure.
Its a dam movie, the glasses are for show, cuz if not most probably wouldnt realize its a fuckin doctor.
5. Apparently, Transformers can look like people now. How? And how is it that even though the robo-girl (Isabel Lucas) is made of metal, she can still straddle Sam without crushing him. And if Bumblebee knows something's wrong with her, why does he spit antifreeze at her instead of telling Sam? Yes, his voicebox is broken, but wasn't it fixed at the end of the last movie?
Once again this is all make believe, and apparently theyre technology is more advanced than a fuckin rocket ship so yea they can turn into people.
6. The Fallen is the last of the Primes, since they all sacrificed themselves to stop him from destroying the sun. But then he says that Optimus is a descendant of the Primes. First, Transformers have kids? And second, how could he descend from them if they were all dead? And if the Fallen could only be destroyed by a Prime, why didn't the originals just gang up on him back in the day? And what makes Optimus so special, anyway? Megatron beat him earlier, but all it takes is a few spare parts from creaky old Jetfire for him to take out the Fallen?
After they bring back Megatron, they go back to cybertron or watever the fuck its called where "The Fallen" is, and Starscream mentioned some shit about Their offspring dying and he throws one on the floor soaked in like some nasty ass fluid.

And apparently the first primes somehow had off spring, its not like they were alive for 2 days then died. They lived theyre life and somehow had offspring, maybe they took human form and mated, who knows *shruggs shoulders*

And maybe the primes, didnt wana fight amongst themselves, i think they mentioned something about it too.
And what makes Optimus so special, anyway?
Um hello! He answerred his own fucking question, the Fallen could only be destroyed by a Prime, and Optimus was the only Prime still somewhat alive.

Im tired of typing...

I saw it a few weeks ago, I thought it was awesome. I loved the twins, I liked all of it. When I get engrossed in a movie, I forget I'm at a movie, this happened to me. I didn't even realize it was 2:45, it was fucking awesome. I thought "The biggest explosion done in a movie" was going to be more epic though.
