Getting Codes not working (02 Neon)

Getting Codes not working (02 Neon)

Hi
I am Turning the key from acc to on three times, ending at the "on" position but I'm not getting any codes (GOOD) but most importantly I'm not getting the DONE Saying check complete?
nothing seems to happen
any ideas?
I drove My Neon till it "SOLD" And then bought a Mazda 3 Skyactiv

i dont think it says done if there are no codes shown. mine didnt say anything last time i tried.

It should be from the "off" to "on"position three times. Don't go to "acc"
Listen for the fuel pump.
Off - on, fuel pump stops/ Off - on, fuel pump stops/ Off - on, fuel pump stops Codes display. It should always say dONE.
