Recent pic of my whale

Post by Tigger » Tue Sep 27, 2005 12:17 am

Hey everyone, I just took a new pic of the whale. What does everyone think of the srt look with this colour? I have been thinking about changing it but I cannot decide on a colour. Any suggestions?

that color would look great. minus the white pin-stripe. i CF hood & trunk would go along nicely aswell.

I think that looks awesome and I also would think it'd look good with a bit of carbon fiber.

Very kickass color... with CF it woudl be even better and go nicely with your wheels.

Some other input... I say loose the pinstripe or get something darker. Might also look better with tinted corners instead of the white since the car has an overall dark look.

Thank you I appreciate all the comments. The stripes are actually silver, they look like a glare off the body line in the sun. Yea I have been thinking about getting smoked corners. I was gonna get the ip2 carbon srt hood but when I wanted to order it from MP they were out and I had a car show to go to...so oem hood and carbon insert and off to the show I went. Again thank you. Quick Question..I have been thinking abour changing the rims to Bronze, would that be too much of a clash with the graphite? Guess I should get a side shot and post it in photoshop request(hint, hint).

i like the color wheels you have now....matches the paint nicely, but you never know, bronze could work. ive been thinking of going w/ bronze as well. id photo shop it first and see before spending the money

I say stick with your current color wheels. I don't think Bronze would look right on the Graphite color

No bronze wheels. That would be uncool with your car color. Plus, very very few wheel designs look good in bronze IMO.

i'd keep it! i was actually thinking of doing the exact same thing as you since there arent any real SRTs in that color, but it just worked out easier to get a black one like i originally planned. save the money you would have spent painiting it for a turbo or more cf

I can think of 2 carbon fiber things to make the overall appearance better.

1. Hood
2. Trunk
3. Front Lip
4. Get the stripes done in carbon fiber vinyl.

Or just leave it the way it is. I like the Graphite Metallic paint with the gunmetal wheels. Looks good.

I want to put carbon on but it doesnt show up very well. I used the silver stripe on the side to break up all that grey. 2gn neons are like big ass billboards with any side mouldings. That and the the silver stripe accents the silver on the wheels, headlites and the clear corners. I do apperciate the suggestions. I have been thinking about getting some carbon accent parts...door pillars..gas dor...etc..

the door pillars and the gas door would be nice, simple touches if you dont want to go all out w/ the CF
