Dan is competing in shows though and to compete you can't just have a boring old stock color. I imagine that's why he is painting it. You have to stand out.

The only reason it is getting painted is because the paint is sponsored. The reason that ram got cover is because of the amount of body mods & the overall appearance of the truck. My truck won't get cover unless I paint it.

my bad, forgot you were going for cover. was more in response to the post about needing custom paint to show.

Only big show ive gone to was the DUB Show and i was extremely dissapointed

Jetas I hear you there, I have done multiple DUB shows when I lived in San Diego and I wasn't too impressed, but SEMA, that there is a bad ass show, and is well worth the drive, the down side is there is soooo much to see you walk out of there with a headache.. LOL

Wish I could go this year Dan, but i'm back on a tight budget... I will have to wait to see it here in Houston.

How were u able to get sponsered? An how are u able to get it on a truck mag? And is shop looking for another guy who loves to do custom stuff like this? I'd b happy to move to Texas if I could work there

By knocking doors down, talking with their marketing rep & presenting them with a proposal. In my case, going to sema with an indoor spot with rhino liner, guaranteed street truck cover, & its a brand new truck. we locked the cover deal in because of who my builder knows. the same photographer who shot his dolay is going to shoot mine & push it for cover

Yeah they sponsored the truck. After it gets featured & we go to sema im going to have new headrest made
