215/40/17 is a good way to go, imo. Almost exact tire height compared to OEM.

If i may recomend.. 205/45/17's yokohama S-drives.

Great grip and awesome tire wear. I have 5k on them so far and compared to stock specs, they have only weared down a little..

Do you have coilovers?? If you don't there is no way you can run the 50 series.

Hell, if you turn the wheel all the way with these they kiss the plastic inner fender well.
Although it could be cause that fender is damaged but ,still these get halla close and fill the wheel wells nicely.

On my Tokico HP Blues, I fit a 205/50/17.

50 series will fit with those or coils. Otherwise, you'll need to go smaller.

I was informed that 205/40/17 was the tire size closets to the SXT overall size. That is what I've been running and it is roughly a 1mm or 2mm larger overall.

As for tires I've been running on Toyo Proxie 4s which have been an excellent VALUE. I just got my 3rd set at $66/tire with $80 shipping, and I'll pay roughly $100 to have the mounted and balanced.

215/40/17 = 23.77"
205/40/17 = 23.45"
205/45/17 = 24.26"
185/60/15 = 23.74"

I'm running 215/45/17 and they're taller than stock, am I losing HP? idk, who cares, it's not like I have any. My speedo is hardly off by much and it's worth the extra sidewall to me. It protects the wheel better, looks better, and rides better. I am running Nitto Neo Gens and love them! King Crab turned me on to them and for the price they are great. I got mine from discounttiredirect.com

those nitto neon gens look nice. and seem like a good tire for the price. now how good are those

Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110.

those are UHP and for $396 total that doesnt seem like a bad deal.theres also a $50 rebate so i could end up total of $346.

edited... i googled those tires and have read good reviews on em. does anyone know someone running them..just wanted to see if they liked them or now. or what have u heard on them..
