Mopar Performance 2GN Exhaust

Post by Canada » Mon Jul 13, 2009 9:29 pm

Ok, so as some of you know, I purchased an exhaust at Carlisle.

After holding it up under both my 1GN and my Bro's 2GN, its definitely the one for the 2GN.

Its not the R/T one though. Its made by Borla I think, and badged Mopar.

Its got a long cylinder muffler, and twin tips exiting upwards on the pass side.

Any references or pics in a catalog or anything more about this exhaust would be amazing, thanks!

Yeah, Its made by Borla...

I've rocked it for SXT and currently SRT. Best sounding exhaust IMHO.

The number posted above is correct. It looked like a 1GN exhaust at first but I did not pay atention to the way the pipe went over to the axle.I was also questioning why it was powder coated too....
So when are you sending me the 2GN downpipe you picked up

Awesome!! I was looking for those pics for hours last night, but was obviously too tired to find them!

Not bad considering it's brand new and I paid thirty bucks for it!

I had that exhaust on my old car. Mine is actually the one in the picture in the catalog. I got mine for free actually because it was Mopar prototype!

You guys do realize he got the one on the second page listed with two tips right next to each other, and not the one on the top page that looks like an R/T right? because there's no way his would fit SRT cutouts... or any cutouts

Oh, I thought they only made the one "dual exhaust" which is done by Borla, I'm not sure about the other....

Yeah :cussing:

Just jealous. And yes, the twin right side exit for the 2nd gen was the "in between" exhaust for 1st and 2nd gen. The original SRT prototype used that one as well.
If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

I wonder how much that "performance" exhaust on the top page cost, because honestly, it looks 99.9% like the Vibrant dual exhaust I got for my 05' SXT for $149.00....

Umm, I gotta disagree with your exhaust lookin like the one on the top page. Your exhaust tips look to be a little bit more spread out and hang way lower. IMO
