in general, everything swaps over perfectly except for a few things:
A- Front door scuff plates: everyone knows that these are unique on the 2000 (it has been mentioned multiple times on this forum). I managed to fit the 03 plates with some modifications..........
B- The lower b-pillars are different: since the scuff-plates are different, the lower b-pillars are also unique on the 2000. if you fit the newer b-pillars, there will be a gap in the trim between the b-pillar and the 2000 scuff-plate
C- Rear door panels: the newer models have an extra mounting tab on the rear door panels, it has to be cut-off for the panels to fit correctly on the 2000.
D- Seat belts: the 2000 is the only year with a lap-belt for the rear center passenger instead of a complete seat belt. so if you bought newer seat-belts (like i did) to mount in your 2000, you will have an extra seat belt since there are no provisions for mounting it in the car's frame......you are stuck with the ugly lap-belt
E- Insulation materials: the only positive point about the 2000 model is that it has thicker insulation material in the door panels and some of the trim parts when compared to the newer parts. it also has some extra insulation in the trim parts under the dash, the newer parts did not have any........
hope someone finds these helpful
