My guess is he modded the stock struts by cutting the perches and using coilover sleeves.

And what makes you think they aren't blown exactly? Neons' struts have a notoriously low tolerance for severe lowering, but hey, if you like it, thats what counts.
It definitely looks dumped, which I think looks awesome!

if he rewelded the perch, wouldnt that make the struts blow even faster? because i would think there would be so much more work on the strut.

They don't have to leak to be "blown". It does look good though but I can't imagine that the ride quality is any good. Please don't say you bought coilover sleeves

i dont think it matters really, i read in another thread that he got better sixty foot times. from like 2.6 to 2.1. something like that.

they helped my 60ft trust me.... the ebay springs with sleeves in the rear make it so i can raise the cars ass and keep it from wanting to squat....keeping weight to the front... 2.1 60fts on worn old kumho ecsta's with shit traction ratings...
