pcv breather

ive searched but unfortunately have found nothing cornerning this matter

that was the closet i got but it didnt answer my question

i know its popular to replace the pcv line with a filter.... is it a K&N? what else do i need to convert this? what kind of work is involved?

your talkin bout the line from the back of the valve cover goin to the airbox right?,,,

just install the filter on the end of the tube, and tie it back...


edit: saw these for sale at pepboys and advance, cant remember how much.. just used the link for a reference

the pcv remains in place, just the filter attached to it.

i dont want any tube... ive seen more than enough people just place it directly on the back of the valve cover

You can put it directly to the valve cover, I didn't cuz mine didn't fit over it.

anything else that anyone would suggest?

id like to get a k&n if possible, anyone use one of these?

i have one from advanced auto on mine...ive had it on since april of this year, and its been working fine ever sence.

use that $10 filter on the back of the valve cover and install this:

Install this between your pcv and intake manifold to keep oil from being sucked in....

bringing this back from the dead....

found this on the other .org... it moves the pcv to the back of the valve cover.

has anyone done this??
