SRT-4 Hotside Pipe question

SRT-4 Hotside Pipe question
Hey all I have a question for those of you who have experience using or have help install the srt-4 hotside pipe in their cars, how much of it had to be cut or modded, and what should I do to modifiy it?

When I ran that SRT-4 setup on my 2.0, I modified it by cutting out some of the angle and adding an additional coupler. That way I still was utilizing factory connections on both ends but getting the flex that I needed to make the turn up to the turbo.

yea so I tried to cut out some of the pipe to make it fit, but it still doesnt want to, like I don't know how to really explain it except saying that the pipe will reach the compressor outlet but it kinda sits to the left of it when it fits up against the block and oil pan.. I wish I could show a pic but I can't

I wish I had a picture to better explain. Hmm, the best I can describe it is the first turn after the comp. housing connection would be where I made a cut and used a coupler. That alleviated the angle issue I was having with that pipe.
In retrospective, I wonder if cutting out almost the entirety of the angle and using a 45 degree couple would have been an even better solution...
