Yea ill have to give them a call.
I really want to build a motor or even srt swap, I just don't know what way I wanna go with it. I'm having a good deal of issues with the lock rings on my coilovers. They are like, seized and even wd40 doesn't do a whole lot, so I might be diving into a new set of coilovers.

They get seized from debris and crap getting into the threads as well as the metals being different (<--- that's not a fact. I just made it up. But it's a fact) I just cleaned my threads off with a stiff bristle brush and sprayed WD-40 all over them last weekend while I was trying to solve other problems.

he pretty much called it, and it's the reason why i'm not going to be rolling coilovers in the winter. right in my ksport manual, it says to keep the bitches clean, or the threads will get shit in them seizing the coils.sidepipe87 wrote:They get seized from debris and crap getting into the threads as well as the metals being different (<--- that's not a fact. FUCKING WIN on the fogs!
Idk man, I think you need to throw some smoked rock blocker or lamin-x over them. I'm gonna do it on mine finally to tie them in with the black housings/eventual retros better.
