ok been looking around dealership's and there has been a few good SRT's for sale. should i sell my current neon but buy the srt. and how much would i get for my neon?
If you are financially able to get the SRT-4 comfortably, then go for it. You prolly won't get much for your 9 year old Neon. It's prolly not worth trading in at all. Just keep it or sell it on Craigslist for whatever you think it's worth. What is the book price on your particular car? Don't add money for any mods unless you plan on taking them off and selling them on the side.

Yes, that would be the way to go. Keep the Neon for a DD and have the SRT-4 as a project car.

If you want a high horsepower FWD car, it's the way to go unless you find some old Shelby Dodge in great shape that you would rather tinker with. A good SRT-4 can be had for $12K and under with great miles and decent, clean mods. Unmodded I would look very closely at and make sure it was not recently put back together after being beaten severely all it's life and then put back to stock then traded.
Myself, I'd rather have something AWD or RWD for a fun car in the garage. I still want a white 04 STi with gold wheels or an Evo MR of any year. But, a cheap Mustang GT with some 4.11 gears, delete some silencers with straight pipes and maybe a more solid rear, I would love to trounce one around for the fun of it. Easy to resell and they are fun to drive.
