It's not the solenoid pack that's leaking?

Ok so I have black projectors on the way. Plus I want to do some other things to the car. So I want to get some feedback and whatnot.

1) Im gonna be buying fiberglass eyelids for the car. Black or Orange? I like how mine looks with black now, but I want orange at same time.

2) Money is tight, so buying new rims is out of the option. Should I leave mine all black, or give them an orange lip?

3) I got a injector cover. I'm going to leave the cover black and paint the letters orange. Think that would look alright? I also think I want to leave the valve cover black, but paint the letters orange.

ORANGE ALL THE WAY. It will great color matched.

2) Money is tight, so buying new rims is out of the option. Should I leave mine all black, or give them an orange lip?

Leave them alone. They look fine how they are.

3) I got a injector cover. I'm going to leave the cover black and paint the letters orange. Think that would look alright? I also think I want to leave the valve cover black, but paint the letters orange.

The orange lettering would be kick-ass, just time consuming and difficult. Same with the injector cover. Black, with Orange lettering.

Injector cover is already sanded. Prolly gonna paint it when I get home. I think I'm gonna buy another valve cover and do it just incase I mess it up. It's gonna be the hard part.

Virus - Yea I can see that. Hopefully 3m's trim tape will help that be a little easier.

Crystal - Yea, I think there is a crack around the sensor on top :(

Well it's painted. Waiting for it to dry so I can pull the tape off. It doesn't seem too look that bad. In Some spots the tape got messed up while I was spraying so idk what I'll do with them. Either touch them up with a brush or leave them alone. Not really noticeable though.

EDIT:

Well it turned out pretty shitty. The tape stuck to all the paint trying to unmask it and I had to cut the tape out, so it left real uneven jagged lines all the way around everything. If anyone has any tricks to taping these letters off, or if I should just brush them let me know.

Mine wasn't bad either till the tape lifted all the paint. I'm going to paint it gloss black, then paint the letters orange with a paint marker I think.

This may seem like a really dumb suggestion...but chapstick or vaseline :) Paint wont stick to them so you can wipe it off afterwards.

I may try that. Got bigger problems now. Clutch makes a squeaking/grinding noise when I push in the clutch or let it out.

Just a little update. I gave up on letters on the injector cover. My dad is going to paint it and my fiberglass eyelids the color of my car when they come in.

I think the trans leak is fixed. it was leaking around the axle seal that was already changed once. I'm thinking it's cuz of the reman. Dodge axle. Looks like they shaved alot off the shaft so the seal wasn't sealing around it.

Trans noise must be the shaft. Didn't put grease on it or that little release ball so will be tearing that back out soon.

eBay projectors will be here Tomorrow. Didn't get the smoked ones because the actual lens was smoked, not the inside. Ordered a 6k hid kit from vvme for them. Ordered replacement hid bulbs for my foglights because I'm putting my stock fogs back in for the wintr.

For the lettering, just use a paint marker.

I can't wait to see the orange eyelids. They will look better than black. Did you get the S-style?

Yes orange eyelids will look worlds better I'm with Tam on that one. I went through five axle seals in over a year until I finally have one now that doesn't leak. Amazing how finnicky those little shits are.

Yep, S-Style. And the bad part about the seal is, the good American Made expensive on leaked. This cheap ass Taiwan one doesnt...

No. I Forgot who made the first seal, but it was made in American. Second one was Taiwan. And the two of them together where cheaper than 1 OEM.

I went through five OEM ones....until I finally had it installed properly. It wasn't so much the seal it was how they were installing it. If it's not pressed evenly all the way around then it will eventually leak.

I tap mine in using a big socket to try to get it even.

What's the best thing to use to seal these headlights up.
