Dont part it out...

Its a no option man! A good body man could straighten that out, although with the way the rim is busted they hit really hard at an angle. I still think it could be saved. Just think in 40 years that thing would be worth what todays classics are worth. It would be like haveing a COPO camaro....factory bread race cars always gain value over enough time, especially one as rare as yours!

sorry to break your heart, but a neon, no matter how rare, will never garner the same type of love/passion/aura from the general public like an old school v8. it may be rare, but it'll never be overly saught after.

You never know man....camaros and all the other trans am ara cars were in the same catagory in their time as neons are in our time. They were throw away cars. They didnt gain value until the last 15 or so years. I remember looking at a 68 ss camaro when I was 14 and they only wanted 1500 bucks. Now, I couldnt touch one for less than 8 grand in the same shape. 25 grand in good shape. The only reason those v8 cars are worth so much is because the kids of the 60's who learned to deal with what they had....cheap mustangs and camaros....are getting older and want to get their highschool hot rods back. When we are in our 60's I could see a neon nut paying a good chunk to get ahold of a peice of history like this......especially since mopar is no longer what it used to be!

Thats just my oppinion though.

No reason to part it out. Buy it back, repair the suspension. Throw a door on and drive it with rocker/quarter damage. Looks like a couple hundred to fix maybe?

I need to be back stateside so I can save all these poor cars.

So I got the car back from Insurance, they gave me 2700+ the car so I'm thinking I might fix it mechanically and get some quotes to get the rocker fixed and just replace the door myself.

we will see.

2700 should be more than enough to repair the damage, unless there's a LOT of suspension or frame damage we can't see. The car deserves it lol

do you have pictures of the front suspension, judging by that rim. there probaly a good amount of damage. but you need to fix this car its too rare to part.
