But i think its time i may sell the neon.
It seems to always want to give me issues and i dont have the time with my busyt schedual to keep it looking good
I was wondering what you guys think as far as a price goes.
Exterior wise the carbon fiber hood is faded. Rear bumper faded has a few scratches on the trunk and a little dent on the driver side rear door. Also the one aftermarket fender on the passenger side is cracked where someone swung their door open.
Other then that the exterior is in good condition. Interior i just replaced the headliner and visors. Some stuff is color matched red 1inch reduc on short throw. Boogers on the tranny side Tokico blue struts Both cvs just replaced, New alternator belt new ac powersteering belt Underdrive pulley AEM intake 50mm tb all new door rear and deck speakers
I can throw pictures up latewr when im home like i said IM not SURE yet if im selling it but i sat down with the wife and with parents and they think i should maybe get another car just cause it seems im alwayts fixing something
Car odometer says 111xxx but it really has half of what ever it says. Had to replace since i had no tach and it was first stick car.
So im not sure

I don't thnk you'd get much for it. It's a 2000 with high miles on the odometer. anyone that you tell the mileage to will just say bs about the new tach. Unless you get someone who likes neons or something i'm sure no one will want to pay extra just cause you put some mods on the car. I'd be looking at 2500-3000 range if you were to sell it.

If you have the old cluster, reinstall it. Sell the tach cluster on here.
20 or 30 extra beans never hurts.
What you really need to consider, other than time spent, is it worth making a payment, that will prolly be more a month than what the current car is costing you.
You will still need to maintain a new(er) car, or it will still bite you. While it might not need much mechanically, at first, the exterior still needs attention. Especially if you lease. Or it is totalled. An insurance adjuster will bone you if it looks like shit. (Other than the obvious damage.)
Edit: If possible save as much as you can a month, and drive it till it is unrepairable. Then you hopefully have enough "cash in hand" to plunk down for a decent down payment, the day you need it. Just remember a dealer or bank will not willingly take large sums of $ as payment, unless you can prove it's origin. (So don't hide it in the freezer) It must be deposited for x amount of time then withdrawn, so the "Man" can have a record of it. (My sister went through that for a house down payment)

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.

Just remember that most people like cars that aren't modified. When I sold my car, I had A BUNCH of people just wanting a normal car. Not many people will buy a car if they think it has been horribly beat on - even if it is only $2000. And sadly, aftermarket = beat on to most people. If you can, try to change most of your stuff back to stock and then sell the aftermarket parts separately.
