ya i should be gettin it from his insurance ( i only have liability on the car) my mechanic told me that it looks like it might have bent the frame? i know it pulls to the right (pass side) now and the seat belt and air bag light keep flashing, they let me drive it home prolly should have had them tow it
neither doors open, window smashed out back door.
so i need at a min if it is able to be fixed , 2 doors, window, pass mirror and find out about the lights! so i think they will total it, it has 166k+ miles on it, not really worth putting that kinda money into it. so i hope they just total it and give me some money to go towards the other neon im gonna get! ( that i now know 100% im gettin bc of this)

Insurance only goes up if you are at fault. If your company terminates you for an accident that isn't your fault, then it sounds like it was time to get a new job.

if they terminate me for it i might just get a lawyer bc a manager got in an accident with a company vehicle ( im not suppose to know this either but i do) and he totaled it and he didnt get fired, he actually got a pay increase.( but then again i dont kiss A$$ or do oral fav. to the boss!!)

To tell you the truth one of the first things I did after my accident was go talk to a lawyer. THe guy behind me was rear ended and thrown into me, and the guy that was behind me tried to sue me for the accident. Luckly I had the lawyer and he handled it all. So, it might not be a bad idea just to go talk to one, just to make sure.

Now wait a minute... I am a former ABATE member who has been wanting a Sportster for almost 30 years (can't afford one yet) so not all Harley enthusiasts are like that.

Your insurance will not go up...you didn't do anything wrong as someone hit you and not the other way around. And I believe your works policy would be the same. You can't prevent people from being stupid I'd be very surprised if they fire you.

Sorry about the damage.
This is one reason to ALWAYS check your mirrors when making a right-hand turn... to see if someone is sneaking up on the right.

don't know how bad bikes are by u but in Jerzey they do that all day long pass where ever when ever and how ever they can. i would be more than willing to buy a beater and open the door for one of those stupid F***s any day.

this is the 5 speed im gettin ( few things i have to fix first off) one being that gay ass shifter boot and knob! the only thing im worried about is this. and i dont have the extra $$ to buy the carfax but
9 records found in the CARFAX Vehicle History database
and the part of the steering wheel cover thats over the air bag is more then 1/2 off looks like the glue or what ever holds it is gone. ill try to get a pic.

Off-topic but the 883 is the smaller engine on the Sportster- a 1200 is available. I do like the "883 Low" (closer to the ground) and there isn't a low model like that with the 1200. Eh, I've always been kidded about being a big guy who prefers small cars and that must carry over with bikes as well.
You're right about the shifter and boot but is it just me or is the carpet under the accelerator completely gone?
You're right about the shifter and boot but is it just me or is the carpet under the accelerator completely gone?
no all the carpet is there, i live in upstate ny like 45 min from Canada, there is alot of salt and what not, this blue car is accurately in better shape then the green car that just got hit( before it was hit) the interior is cleaner ( not the carpet but the seat's and everything else)
would it look stupid if i but an aftermarket steering wheel on? just bc of the whole thing with the steering wheel having the air bag cover coming off?? or does that just glue back on ? ill try to get pics today of it so u can see what i mean

Those nine records could just be different people purchasing the car, in service dates, etc. Put a request in OT see if anyone has a membership for Carfax that can run it for you. That shift boot is special as all hell.
V95 they're the same way here, but I can't imagine anyone could be so dumb as to pass on the right while someone is TURNING right.

whoa.
