couplers

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Autozone? Weak, I know, but besides maybe a speed shop or just eBay, that's your best bet for instant results.

Probably ebay. I picked up the cheapest silicone couplers I could find on ebay and they've handled 17psi no problem :).

Toss up between ebay and AZ. Depends on shippng, and AZ is instant gratification.

I'll have to check out autozone, and see what they have. My dad said something about being able to use plumbing couplers.

I would stick to the silicone ones. You want someting durable, especially if you put one between the TB and IM. Plus there is the engine bay heat factor.

I'd stay away from Fernco couplers - leave them to handling H20...

The rubber couplers will work short-term, especially on a N/A engine, but don't leave them on long term. They will crack and detriorate. Remember, there's no road salt or petroleum products inside a wall to cause damage in their intended application.
