hid fog install

Got a question on outside appearance modifications. Questions about body kits, exterior lighting, just anything thats a visual mod on the "exterior" of the car. Ask those questions here.

whats the best method to installing them? taking the bumper off or attempting to go through the wheel well? where did you guys mount them?

the driver side is pretty easy by taking off the resonator box or you don't even have that and don't even need to bother taking off headlight. but passenger side is harder. you may have to take the headlight off and be careful of the metal stuff underneath. you can approach by plug in and hold the wire to make it fit into the place then approaching from the headlight site to screw it in. passenger side fog light is really a pain however not that hard. i changed it two weeks ago and it took about 15-20 mins of approaching. once you are there then it's easy.

not sure about hid, but mounting the lights into the hole may be like this.

I found that taking off the bottom air dam helped out quite a bit.

is the oem fog light bulb size the same between 00's to srt's when it comes to hid's? i know my h1's in my projectors won't fit the 9007's in the headlights but the fog lights?

i know that the halogen number is 898, and the HID number H11 for our fogs.

i think srts are H4 or H3's?? i cant remember.

I guess it actually helps with your gas mileage. I did put it back on because it looks kinda weird being able to see through your bumper to the ground.

i believe some lights have the same mount. i'm using 881 on my 2000ES.

881, 880, 899, 898 are all the same for SRTs and Neons as well.
