ya from the sounds of today im not going to have many days off. -

today kinda sucked, not sure if im going to like this job or not but ill guess ill have to stick it out until something better comes along. its not a hard job what i was doing today, its really boring actually. and they told me it was going to be hot in there, i think it was colder then hell, i had my hoody on all day!!!

from the sounds of it depending on how well ill do with in the first 30 days, ill prolly know if i have a full time job with them, and if i do well then alot of things will be happening to the neon, like me stripping the parts off it and buying a better shape one, i wish i had the money right now, there is a 2002 dodge for sale up the road from me.no rust as far as i can tell. but the sign say $5000 and idk how many miles are on it but unless its like less then 50k im not paying 5k for a plan atx neon!

update:

should have my hood friday! cant wait

work update: not sure if im liking this job at all. there are parts of it i like and parts i really really dislike, biggest is not liking the idea that i get paid like 6 hr less then others that do the same job as me. but what the hell. i am new and all. but i was told tonight by my trainer, that he hasnt ever seen anyone pick up as quick as i am in the first day .

so i changed my mind on a few things

future purchases

rear disk swap
rear mopar lip
new tires
install my lower motor mount insert
install lca bushings ( still have them sitting in a box from 2 yrs ago)

That describes every job I've ever held... and I've held a few.

There is always some bad to mix in with the good. There is no perfect job. If someone thinks they have the perfect job... give it time... it will change eventually.

Do your best work, get along with everyone (whether you like them or not) and enjoy pay days.

First off, SRT motors were available in 2003, 2004, and 2005. A first gen is at the newest from ~1998. Your car is a 2000. Older engines cannot go into newer cars, legally.

Those dudes swapping old V8s into their 240s / JDM whips either:
1) have mad connections
2) are in an area with no inspections and no one cares
3) don't gives no fucks about da law

I'm putting a 95 motor in my 98. It wont matter as long as it looks factory. They hardly check that. The only place you'll run into a huge issue is in CA.

Well then. I was just basing that off of Frank's posts about which swaps aren't legal. All I know is Indiana never looks at your car. If you can make it move down the road, have at it.

ya ny doesnt check that as long as there are no codes it will pass inspection. so i would just have to have everything like a srt swap for it to work. but im not gonna do that anyways. i think he sold the car already bc its not out by the road forsale anymore. but that is ok.!

update " installed the mag red pc vc.

also found out that the #1 spark plug wire was burn in half inside the spark plug tube, all the tubs where about to come out so i bounded them back in.

good think i had an extra set of wires. these ones only lasted like a year. wish i would have kept my receipt or remember where i bought them bc they had warranty on them.

also for some reason im a dumb ass and over tightened one of the vc bolts and broke it, and same for one of the bolts that hold the coil pack on . so im gonna have to get a small easy out to get those out.!

dank - how is this rice?, there are a few others with this same style hood, if you look closely its the same style hood lsp has on her car

as for the rest if you dont like it , o well i like it , that is all that matters

Dont compare your car to a fully built SRT-4 with a piss load of custom work. That hood looks good on her car as it looks like it belongs and she can back up the look of her car by lifting the hood

i wasn't comparing my car to hers, i was saying that its the same style hood. if its rice on one car then its rice on all cars. i don't care what engine is under the hood.

my car doesn't come close to being anywhere as good as her car, i never claimed it did. you are reading into what i wrote. like i said before if you don't like it that is to bad, there are alot of cars i don't like that are on here, but i don't go running my mouth saying i don't like this i don't like that. i respect what ppl have done which their cars, if they like it that is all that matters.
