throttle body

hey everyone

has any one seen this on ebay or even more so has any one got one for the price and the size it sounds like a good buy or shall i stick to my guns and get the mpx 60mm???

Since it is for an SRT you will need an adapter. Plus that is a huge TB. way more than you need.

They put 80mm TB's on V8s, so yeah its a lil big :lol:

A 65mm was bad enough to find the right pedal position, an 80 would be a nightmare. Your whole throttle driveability would be about 1/8 of the pedal travel. After that it will fall on it's face.

strange how they make 80mm throttle bodies for civics too...

I think it's intended for turbo applications.

i doubt that it will fit.. my experience is that when they say universal they mean civics even if they say neon after it..... and 80mm is too big imo for just a regular neon

Just get an SRT4 stock throttle body, have it bored out to 55mm, follow Kevo's how-to, and call it a day. It's just the right size for n/a Neons with the stock cam/head/internals.

am doing a full rebuild cames valves pistons the works so 60 mm should be good also the mpx one looks great

70mm is still way too big. And for that price, the MPX looks pretty good. There is a 60mm FS on here too.
