I wish you all the best.

I do expect however, that if you do get a new car that you drop it just as hard as the neon.

dude, i know this isn't what you wanna hear...but buy that shit back, and part out pieces you don't want. sit on the wheels, coils, stuff like that. sell body pieces, interior, motor parts you aren't saving....and use that as an advance for your next whip or to hurry the payments on this one.
you'll pull through. hell, you're the fuzzy one!

I doubt Neons are that expensive that you would be paying out the ass for one. I only took out a $4500 loan on my Audi and I'm paying $150 a month with 8.9% (no credit). You would definately have no problem getting a 1gn for less than that. Gotta start trying to get a job, man. That'll really help you.
Oh and ^^Faceless brings up a good point. But it would depend on how much they are gonna charge to have him buy it back. If he's shit broke, he won't be able to buy it back.

don`t feel bad fuzz....I paid 12k for mine out the door and it was an 04 and i just got it 7mths ago.
I think that the buy back might be a good idea. I think that to even get it back on the road could be done. I`m sure that people on here would gladly pony up parts to help. I know if i had the parts i would send them (just ask for half the cost of shipping)
I`m a firefighter and you got away lucky. I am at the station house and a young lady died tonight here cause of an accident just like that and they were doing 5mph slower than your accident.

I could never imagine buying a Neon for $16,000. Though, the only prior owner of my car bought it brand new back in 2000 for $16,000 and I was always like, "What, were you fucking nuts?!" to him for it. Especially when he sold it to me for $3,000. But at least your car still looks much better than mine even though mine is much older... well, maybe not currently, but you'll get back on your feet.
Still, good luck with this pile of bullshit. Hope it all flows away smoothly.
