+1. I live in a very small town and know many of the people. There have been deaths in other families, and I have known a few of them.
I can just hope my cousin can finish up safely. He's been in the Army for, gosh, ten years or so?
God bless everyone and take care! (need a USA smiley)

I almost lost 2 people. My aunt and my father-in-law. My aunt would have been at work across the street the day it happened, but she was in surgery. My father-in-law got stuck in a meeting on Ft. Meade instead of going to the Pentagon. He lost 3 friends there.

So many neons so little time.

RIP to those that lost their lives on Sept 11 and any fallen military since.
And kudos to anyone who has joined the military AFTER Sept 11... knowing we are in a war.
You have my respect.

I know what you mean. I have lost 5 friends/brothers in arms over there in afghanistan and did a tour and made it home alive...I thank god and ask him everyday why I did.
But as a retired (vet) soldier I wanna also thank EVERYONE who supports the troops no matter their Nationality.

This kid i knew almost lost his dad. His dad worked on one of the floors where a plane hit. His whole company was wiped out. He was on vacation or something like that.
I have a cousin in Iraq right now and one that did two tours there also.
I also can't imagine being any of the people on the planes. This was the shittiest single day in american history. Fuck the fucking terrorists.
