its not about psi its about CFM, 10 psi on a gt28rs wouldnt be the same as 10psi on a 35r.
What turbo do you plan on running?
I could be wrong but i think the stock internals are good up to 250 ft/lbs tq

But it still depends on what kind of turbo.

Addicted2Boost is running 11 pounds on a 60 trim.
There are so many variables to this situation, you are better off just saying 1 psi - 30 psi.

Well, there's a guy on the other org up to 20.5psi on the weaker 1gn bottom end. Runs 115mph 1/4s. But his creeps to that, and his tune is intentionally weak. With a small turbo, I would keep the boost down. With a bigger one, I would make a little more.

It really depends on how well it is tuned. I was dialed in at 10-12 when I ran the SRT turbo on my 2.0L. 7-9 would be pretty safe on a decent tune, yes.

Just need to keep that torque below 250, otherwise your bottom end will start to hate life.

:laughing3:

I just got my ms, once i build it im planning on getting it professionally tuned to 200 whp max. should be safe on a dd ide say till i get the internals built.

so i guess to the OP ide go for the safest tune possible. unless its a drag car and u dont really care about breaking anything and ur rebuilding it monthly/weekly anyways.
