2001 ACR Bumper Question need some pix

Post by Maddog » Mon Sep 14, 2009 11:01 pm

Ok, I replaced my front bumper cover with one from a 2000 Plymouth (purists, plz don't keel me!). It's the smoother style, as opposed to the one it had on there.

Ok, I need 4 pix:

Can someone post a pic of what an American market 2001 Dodge Neon ACR or R/T bumper is supposed to look like, and

what and American market 2001 Dodge Neon non-R/T or ACR bumper is supposed to look like, and

what a Canadian market 2001 Dodge Neon ACR or R/T bumper is supposed to look like, and

what a Canadian market 2001 Dodge Neon non-R/T or ACR bumper is supposed to look like.

The reason I ask this is I was killing time at work and browsing through different sites that sell body parts (son's '03 R/T still needs a black bumper cover), and I noticed that all the pix displayed on all the websites looked like the same style (smooth 2000 Plymouth style) for the '00-'02 listings.

Thanks in advance!

^yeah, usually their stock photos are incorrect... but only in the sense that it says R/T. As far as I know, only Mopar makes the R/T bumper, same with SRT. It's misleading to say it's for an R/T but technically I guess they are. I think this is what you meant, if not I'm sorry!

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think they are saying that it will fit an R/T or ACR. The pic that badboyscout posted is one I have not seen on any of the part seller websites - they all look like the same Plymouth style bumper.

And thanks for the pic, boyscoutgonebad

Boyscoutgonebad, I fixed pic so it would show.
O/T:
That isn't the one that was there about two years ago is it? That thing was in sad shape inside/underneath. It wasn't close to a $6000.00 value.
