04 SRT4 rear upgrade on my 2000 ES

Post by zpi28 » Tue Sep 15, 2009 8:34 pm

Here are a few pictures of my car with the SRT4 rear upgrade. It looks alot better now, next Ill be doing the front and side skirts along with Rims. I have a mild build SOHC motor out of a drag car that I may install in here to get alittle more pep out of it. This is my work car that I drive about 110 miles per day to memphis. I dont like keeping cars stock for very long, but it is only a work car.

Just a few parts from an 04 SRT4.

Yeah what's up with that sticker? I'd take it off.

The rear bumper looks amazing! Now get some sides and front bumper to match!

Yes the HOG is for my Arkansas Razorbacks.. I actually have a nice Washington Redskins sticker on the back glass now. The bumper matches the car pretty good, I thinking of a new paint scheme for it this fall. Im seeing some really nice looking 2nd gens on this site. I think lilsparkplug's car is awesome. Im about to order me some LEDS for my gauges this week. Only Complaint I have about this is that the exhaust is just too loud, I need to add a Turbo to quite it down I guess..

I just added a muffler and cut apart the rear section, it's much nicer now. But that was only because I couldn't afford a turbo to quiet it down...

OK I got tired of the drone (although it puts my 2yr old asleep very fast  ) so I had a 22" glasspack added and kept one of the resonators. Now the car is alot nicer to ride in, the DRONE IS GONE.

I actually got a hook up on this SRT setup. I have a friend in Memphis that sold me the complete exhaust for $20, another friend gave me the rear bumper cover, and I paid $50 for the tails now $42 for the glasspack installed so $112 for the setup. My dad also owns a paint shop so the paint was free.. Great deal on my part, I know I wont get such a good deal on the front.
