Well shaved the rear door handles, trunk lock and 3rd. brake light today, guess I'm kinda commited to paint now. I plan to shave front handles and possibly get lambo door hinges too.

fyi..in case u decide to shave the front ones off too...if ur battery ever dies on you, you wont be able to get into ur car..just a thought, looks good tho

Installing Hood Pins and shaving your stock hood latch would be a very good idea if you plan on shaving all your handles and installing door poppers. that would allow you to get to your dead battery and open up the car......

hope you dont have the factory alarm,........ mine was fine for months, all of the sudden,.. I am having trouble with it, because you have to disarm it with the keyholes that are gone,...... well, I guess you will be okay if you have the remote, the remote was long lost by the time i purchased the car.

DO NOT REMOVE YOUR HOOD LATCH IF YOU HAVE KEYLESS ENTRY! it sends your alarm on the fritz. my cars alarm goes off at the most inconvienent times now. it's a fucking bitch. cant wait to see pics of the car painted though, i love the shaved look. very nice!

i have a friend who did the whole hood pins idea with no latch..and i was riding behind him on the highway till he took a dip and literally the hood flew up on him, smashing his windshield and destroying his hood, i honestly wouldnt reccomend just holding ur hood down with hood pins..i mean they sell them for extra protection but i dont think theyre meant to hold a hood as heavy as 30-40 pounds down especially if ur goin 70-80 and u hit a bump or seomthing...just remember saftey first.

I can see the pics just fine.

And for the Hood Pins that I'm recommending.... I would suggest that you go to a RACE SHOP, and buy REAL hood pins. Not the eBay crap, or the crap you can buy at your local auto parts store. No APC, etc. I had my car to over 100+ mph with the real hood pins and the hood didn't even move....

when i do finally remove front handles i intend to have some sort of backup for getting into my car. Something like a cable remote for pass. door or remote batt. posts under rear bumper..etc. I'll post more pics as I get the rest done..gonna be a few days..

Um any good kit like Autoloc has a backup pull that you unually hide in the fender well.

Whats this do? I have been trying to start mine with the hood and latch removed,... IT WILL NOT My alarm stays armed even when i insert my keys into the ignition, my starter wont turn over at all, wont even try, HELP!, I made a post in General 2GN Questions, a couple of days ago called factory alarm help,......... N3ONK1D,....Anyone,....?

put the hood back on, maybe that will help. i dont use my alarm anymore. i lock the car when i get out, and use the key to unlock it. but seeing as how you sdhaved your handles... i unfortunately cannot help you there...

its easier to break in our cars than you guys think. grab the corner of the door and pull back hard. you can get a slim jim in to tap the lock button.
