i have a friend who did the whole hood pins idea with no latch..and i was riding behind him on the highway till he took a dip and literally the hood flew up on him, smashing his windshield and destroying his hood, i honestly wouldnt reccomend just holding ur hood down with hood pins..i mean they sell them for extra protection but i dont think theyre meant to hold a hood as heavy as 30-40 pounds down especially if ur goin 70-80 and u hit a bump or seomthing...just remember saftey first.EvilCreations wrote:henry00x wrote:fyi..in case u decide to shave the front ones off too...if ur battery ever dies on you, you wont be able to get into ur car..just a thought, looks good tho
Installing Hood Pins and shaving your stock hood latch would be a very good idea if you plan on shaving all your handles and installing door poppers. that would allow you to get to your dead battery and open up the car......
