Good replacement battery? ver. no Optima

I'd just like to take this opportunity to say my stocker is still kicking around, it's at the 10 and a half year mark.

A lead acid battery typically lasts 5 years. I checked the date on mine. November 2003. So about 6.5 years. Thats why I am thinking about replacing it.

Anyone tried a drycell Odyssey replacement battery? Its the same size as stock.

They aren't really dry cells, they are AGM batteries.

Ihave always ran optimas in my stuff with no problems i have 2 in my PT cruiser and one in neon the one in the neon is 8 years old

i have 2 yellow top optimas in my Neon and have had them for 5 years or so and no problems well worth it and with a hammer it will fit

Kinetic batteries FTW! They are deep cycle, gel cells that are about half the size of our stockers. great battery
