SRT rear bumper, R/T exhaust??
Ok, I can't find any pics on this site of anyone running an SRT rear bumper rolled with an R/T exhaust. I want to see how far from the edge of the rolled area the tips are going to be. If you have pics of this setup, please post them! Thanks.

I have an R/T and Srt tailpipe but it not on my car, instead I use an after market dual exhaust on for the winter instead of factory exhaust/tail pipe. I'm pretty sure it'll fit but it won't be center because the R/T are more a bit closer in instead of wide like the srt tailpipe.
see if my picture helps since i never try to put any of it on an srt

Thanks. It'll fit if you roll the middle section of the SRT bumper

The tips will be about 1 1/2" to 2" from the edge of the bumper. The R/T exhaust is that much narrower than the SRT.

Using Chtear's but as a guide, the system on there is the M/P SRT cat-back. You can see where the original cut-outs are towards the inside. I had to cut the bumper that much to allow the tips to clear. Your car would be just the reverse.
Oh, and just so you know, the R/T tips sit a bit lower too.

If I could just figure out how to meld the Outback and the Neon into one car...

Thanks a lot Dante! I can live with that and a rolled lip. If it hangs too low, i'll squeeze the hangers so it tucks up more. I just wanted to know what I'm getting myself into ahead of time.

Thanks Mopar65. That kinda looks like shit... haha, I'll figure it out later. I wish the Thermal R&D for the SRT-4 wasn't so expensive, and didn't have a basically fake driver's side tip.

^quit being a noob!!!
OK concensus -- it looks like utter shit. However ,SRT rear bumpers are sexy as hell and I WILL have one soon, so I'll figure it out. I'm wondering if it'd be worth attempting to get my R/T rear section widened a bit to match the SRT openings. Anyone have any clue how much a shop might charge for that? Bear in mind it's all stainless. Might not even be worth it. I'm definitely not running an SRT rear section without mufflers, that sounds like shit.

Yeah I contemplated a side exit as well, and I even have a camaro SS chrome rectangle tip. I'd have to put two spiral flow mufflers down the center of my car though.

Wow, I don't know why but I've always loved that. Or maybe just the single angled ones.

Yeah, that's the style. Honestly dude...All the work and $$ you'll drop on the cans, piping, and shop work to have a twin muffler setup would not be worth it.sidepipe87 wrote:A'pexi N1 style. meh, it's ok.
Paint the muffler you have now black. Try to hide it a little bit until you're ready for a "drastic" exhaust change.
el. oh. el.
