other then the afx ecu what options do i have if any on my 00 atx to try and get some better power over the stock ecu? will ms give me the extra ummpph im lookin for afx claims to increase the rev limiter and take advantage of pretty much you throw at it, i though ms was just fuel and spark

It shouldn't have to if he has the 3-speed hydraulic-valve ATX. MS can control a bunch of variables and help unleash a little more power, but would the work of setting it up be worth it? How much work do you have done to your car? It's definitely a good option if you plan on upgrading.Ntyvirus1 wrote:idk if MS can control an ATX.

i would think that you would just need a way to lock up the converter.

No need for the MS to control the ATX, just let the stocker do it. You'll want to leave it in there to control the non-essentials anyway (cluster, fans, etc), so it will take care of the trans, too.

No, the stock PCM will be able to control it just as it does now. It won't notice anything different.
Off-topic...if you are boosting with the 3spd I would definitely look into an aftermarket trans cooler. Also, you might look at a RMVB. It was a lot of fun when I had my 2.0 boosted with a 3spd.
