The cage looks bad ass! Are you going to have a passenger seat too?

Cage looks okay, but I don't think it's any sort of legal, either NHRA or SCCA.

So many neons so little time.

some people put cages in their cars for show. i know a guy on the cobalt forum did the same thing... cept it was hardly bolted down to anything and would fucking kill him in an accident.
his car is also turbo, so he could lie and say that's the reason as well

But seeing as it probably wouldn't pass an NHRA tech inspection I think putting a cage in a car that can't run 11.50 is a little silly.

like i said, it's for the looks more than likely.
it's something different for this guys car than what he had last year. and you can't deny it, he has a "show" car to the truest name. it doesn't have to be official, it has to look good.

^ opi has it right, i am betting show... no need to have something that is fully functional when u pull it off a trailer and pull it in a building for a show.. i could be wrong, but taht is my bet...

lol no its a show car... show cage.. just something to look different and unique.. the cage is actualy welded in.. it wont be coming out anytime soon.. the rear window has to come out to get the final welds in and to get the cage painted.. but its not like i drive this car... i got almost 90 miles on the car since 2005... it really is a hobby and just a show car.. i got a daily driver to get me around
thanks for compliments and opinions.. hopefully the car comes together and i can get some more pics...
