lth question
lth question
i may possibly have my hands on a kirk lth but i'm reading 2 differemt reviews about lth in general some say they are only good for upper end power and some say that it is good across the whole band. so i'm just wondering what the honest truth is because i don't really want a just high end. i would prefer a low to mid range power gain. anyway if anyone could clear the air for me i'd appreciate it.

the kirk is decent for high and low rpm's. It is more of a mid length and has smaller primaries than the rest of the long tubes. Imo its the worst long tube out there.

[/quote]Yup it definately needs to go lower. If its not scrapeing constantly why you are driving then its not low enough bro.

I've been told the OBX and TTI headers are the best designs out there (obx is a TTI knock-off). Although you won't see a drastic improvement unless you have other mods to go along with the header.
Some say the primaries on both headers is too large for a stock setup, but once you get a cam and other bolt ons you make better power.
Just remember that any mid or long tube header eliminates the cat, so you'll have to have one welded in to be legal.

The ceramic coated one maybe. The Mag header is 400 stainless. Yes it may rust, but it will last years past a painted steel header.excon wrote:From what I understand the pacesetter header is just as good as a magnum header... So it's an upgrade for non mag engines but not for magnum engines.
Not that it is a big issue. A Pace Setter driven on a regular basis should last 5 years or more. If the car sits a lot outdoors (not driven), it might be a bigger concern.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
