Just a quick question....

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons… just anything that is generally "engine" specific. This also includes questions about exhaust systems such as exhaust manifolds, piping size, mufflers, ect...

Just a quick question....

Post by Mat00ES » Wed Sep 30, 2009 3:00 am

Before I had my srt catback install, I had a piece of flex pipe welded on the end. Now the question is, is that something that has to be done. Or could I just clamp up the exhaust with out it?

you should be ok with just clamping it on. Why did u have flex pipe toward the end of the exhaust?

I noticed the srt midpipe didnt and my stock one did. So, I just figured it couldnt hurt. Not sure if its why, my exhaust vibrates like crazy.

I bolted it up without adding anything. It works? Should be just fine.
