Our Military does the same thing, but I'm too smart to be a grunt. lol Scored a 90+ in each of the categories on the ASVAB (dont remember the actual scores just remember my career councilor and the military recruiters going crazy over it.) and a 161 on the IQ test. Everything I wanted to do said I couldn't be color blind to do so. Something about hitting the wrong button and killing thousands of people.

I know our military lets you be more than a grunt...I know you can be a Military cop in our military, all sorts of naval careers, and well every element in our military offers careers for colour blindness...I knew a guy that was partially colour blind and he was a "lineman" thats a hydro, phone, any kinda cable instalation and repair man..and I don't know if your familiar with cables..but telephone lines have 25 different colours pairs to distinguish from lol

So come on Mox...come to Canada..I'm the official non official recruiter for our Military lol

Plus joining the Canadian military is like joining the basketball team that has no arms. Sure you may be the MVP but you're still on a losing team!

 jk man

The Air Force would take you being color blind but it was probably not a job you wanted to do.

You can have quite a few jobs in the Air Force and still be color blind. :)

Yep, all the jobs they listed that allowed me to be color blind seemed so lame and boring. So I passed.

Oh ok..well I didn't even take it as the thing that was offensive..we had a "discussion" about the olympics..but that was his opinion..didn't appreciate what he said personally to me and I voiced it and now...I just walked away...but thanks mat..didn't understand and now I do lol
