Sometimes you have to learn to distinguish true disrespect in order to find that you had no idea what you were talking about.Passt wrote:I find it ironic you couldn't figure this out while we were together.Pocahontas wrote:I for one know you don't mean to disrespect anyone.

Keith...this type of thread is a pussy move, yes, but you know exactly what you are doing. I know you aren't stupid. I'd say right about know it is panning out just as you expected. Especially based on a few of your previous posts. I can see the big picture that you are working with here. An attempted revolution, if you will. You get a point from me on that front. Well done.
Since I have met you, I can assure everyone here (just a jerry did) that you are exactly like this in person. I don't feel like there is anything wrong with speaking your opinion in a straight up manner, I don't fault you for that at all. In fact, more times than not I get quite the chuckle from your responses. I just think where you differ from other very opinionated people (e.g. Mox, Opi, Random) is that you take it a few steps farther. You go for that initial jab but then you keep hovering around like a vulture when you find someones weakness and are able to 'flip their switch', per se.
I think that's the part which is a tough pill to swallow for some of the members on here. I would imagine that you can understand where at least some of them are coming from because, as many saw in person, you can have a 'hair trigger' temper at times, as well.
I would just say that maybe you should look at why you are picking at someone before the onslaught continues. At times, I agree, it is fully warranted due to a good debate taking place or the like. While other times I feel like you are doing it for your own pleasure, which if that is your MO, then more power to you. I just wanted to explain a bit better where some of the others are coming from.
Bottom line is...there are not enough ripped off shirts in this world to keep you away from 2GN, you love us all too much.

Here's my thoughts on the matter based on what I'm reading and have heard.
Myself I've never been one to really lock threads, I encourage discussion as without discussion and feedback things don't change for the better. The squeaky wheel gets the oil so unless people speak up, nothing is done. That holds true with this thread. I've seen other forums that if something bad is said about them (the staff or forum) the thread magicly disappears and even David Copperfield or Chris Angel couldn't bring it back.
I really just typed up this big long thing but when finished and reread it, realized, it wouldn't do any good. Overall the basis for what I typed simpley put was "The attitude of a lot of people on 2GN is the same attitude that caused 2GN to be created several years ago."
2GN wasn't started years ago because we were the pussies of the Neon crowd that couldn't take critisim, it was started because we were tired of the bullshit... among other things.
Either the staff does too little, or the staff doesn't do enough. Myself and in talking to Frank agree, we're all for discussion and disagreements but as I've stated many times before on the forum, as long as disagreements and even arguements stay civil... I'm fine with it and could care less. Sometimes new ideas come from arguements trying to mix two peoples opinions and ideas and ending up coming up with something in the middle that satisfies both.
At some point both sides are going to have to find some middle ground. On one side there's people that don't want argueing, don't want hostility, just want to come on the forum, have a good time, discuss Neons with friends and thats it. While others want what seems to be no holding back, if you can't take what I dish out then you're a pussy and need to grow a pair because this is how the world works and if you can't deal with my words you suck or will suck at life and may as well go DIAF. Thats sort of an exageration but to an extent it's true. If you can't take critisim then you're going to find yourself crying to mommy when you get into the real world and find that not everyone is going to like or take to your opinions and ideas. Some people have to toughen up and grow some ticker skin. However, because that aspect is true doesn't mean everything has to brutaly honest. I'm not saying sugar coat everything but there are ways to voice an opinion or idea without having to sugar coat them and not be an asshole either.

The reason you don't post is because you post nonsense and when people call you out for it, you get all butthurt and turn to insults to try and make yourself feel better. You say that what you post NOW is pointless, what the hell did you call all the other assinine posts you made in the past?!?
I can guarantee you that there is alot of people on this site, some who have actually met me and some who know me through here, that respect me one HELL of a lot more then they respect you!

First of all, LMFAO @ caring about RESPECT from an online forum. You must have one hell of a social life, if one at all.Canada wrote:I completely missed this the first time I read through this thread!

Secondly, i've never been called out by anyone that I didn't handle or address. But it's mods like YOU that don't let discussions or "arguing" play out to a resolution. ANY amount of conflict whatsoever is immediately SERIOUS BUSINESS AND THIS THREAD MUST BE LOCKED! I've seen you do it over the course of my stay here. You're sad, quite frankly. Like i've said from the beginning, even though i'm sure he doesn't like me, Racer12306 is really the only level headed guy on here.
I'm still seriously laughing at your last point of people here respecting you...

WOW!!! I thought this guy was an "urban legend" on here...I think in my short time here this is the first time i've actually seen a post from Diablo0
And I vote Dodge_girl for 2010..she's the most level headed Canadian on here and sorry to all the American brotherin on here Canada to death baby lol
and for the record...I hate NO one on here and i've had a spat with racer12306, Philly, and CANADA..I know it's the internet and 99% of everyone won't meet me and thats the bliss of freedom (opinion) and I respect anyone that is willing to stand up and say "hey! I don't like or agree with this/that" they get my respect especially when it is towards me.
So Philly (in the cuddily nature your apperently not lol) Stay man, get past this and carry on..your one of my new friends on here now that we've argued lol
