my fog lights wont go off when my headlights are on help plz

i have this problem with my fog lights, when my regular headlights are on, so are my fog lights they wont go off unless i signal left, they turn off, and once the signal goes off the fog lights turn back on. when i use my brights too, the fog lights go off. i replaced my bulbs recently with hid bulbs i don't know if its connected or not. does anybody know what i could do to fix this thanks

Fog lights always go off when the high beams come on as far as I know. Been like that on every vehicle I have ever been in and driven with fogs. As for the other part, no idea. Is the switch no good?

I would vote switch too..cause i have no fog lights no more in mine and when i signal my fog light on my dash flashes really quick...i'd go looking there twix

standard problem. switch loses material inside and fogs come on.
repair the switch you will find an how-to here. or buy a new one...

Id also guess the MFS.. Multi function Switch. I got one out of an 05 SRT4 when mine went out in my car.

When I wiggled my turn signal switch, my fog light indicator would come off and on. When I put my highbeams on they would be on for a min and then started to flicker. When I would turn my fog lights on they would come on, but then shut off in a few minutes. This was all caused by MFS and the fuse block. I replaced the MFS and rewired the fuse block and all is working great!

My plug wasnt quite that bad, I didnt change mine out since it was still all working fine. I do have a spare one in our parts car.
