The converter inlet = 2.50", the converter outlet = 2.25"

The inlet is larger to accommodate the flex joint. But for a direct fit universal unit, you will need to find one with a 2.50" inlet/2.25" outlet, or get a 2.50" both ends, and have a reducer to hook the oem pipe to. the end of the mid pipe is 2.00" at the muffler connection. The only exhaust that doesn't neck down to 2.00" is the R/T exhaust.

If you are replacing it all with custom bent, then it doesn't really matter. They will fit the pipes via expanding, or reducing the ends.

I guess messed up I ordered the cat but it's 2.25 both ways. I hope they make it work though. The tips I haven't gotten yet the ones I saw were 2.25 in 4 out. The setup consist of 2 moroso spiral flows into duals with the bupers cut.

They'll just weld a reducer on. It really doesn't matter. the I.D. of the flex is only 2.25 ish anyhow.

I have an '02 with 2" piping. Yee-MF-Haw.
Fix it 'till it's broken. Then upgrade.

Yeah, it seems they had a few of the '00 systems lying around. My '01 had the 2" too.

Yeah...once the 2.4L goes in, then I can justify 2.5" piping. Until then, I'll deal.

In all honesty, I really can't see much power difference between the 2" and the 2.25". It revved to 6750 with no trouble with the 2" and oem muffler.
