Out of that entire thread there's only a small number of people who know what the hell they're doing and have a nice setup. Outside of that it hurts to look at. Stretching rubber onto a rim 2" too wide and giving it a shit load of negative camber is pointless and gay. Not just a little bit gay like you experimented with a buddy back in grade 10 gay, I mean you enjoy a solid rattling in your cornhole anytime you can get it gay, even if the only time you can get it is from a hobo.

Why? It's mainly for show. I doubt htere are more than 5% of the cars pictured, daily drive them. Do you hate them because most are "Hondas"

What is your choice in rim? 16x6?

The red RSX Is the only ridiculous one. Its just plain unecessary

It's gay whether it's a honda or not.

you guys are not getting what i am saying, what i mean is that many people on neon sites do not like those kinds of fitments, I personally love it, and love to look at cars like that, and strive to incorporate ideas from the other "scenes" to take my car to a level above cuda stripes and 43mm offset wheels with a 1 inch drop. no offense intended to anyone and should have reworded my first post

That link has a very useful offset explanation at the very beginning. It helped me FINALLY understand how to think of positive and negative offset.

I still have a hard time wrapping my head around Caster.

Anyways, I drooled over a lot of those pictures. Can't say I'm a HUGE fan of stretched tires and outrageous negative camber, but there are some pretty sick setups on there.

=P~ Look at that fitment.

Wow. There's a shit load of nice wheels.

Even thought I love the flush fitment/negative camber/ extremely low look, I don't see the point of doing it.

From my understanding there was/is a purpose to "stretch". I guess in Germany were this trend started it was/is illegal for the tread of the tires to exceed the plane of the edge of the fenders. So for people who wanted to run wider rims put their smaller tires and boom, stretch was born. In some states in the US it is also illegal. If the cop gives you a ticket or not is up to him (similar to window tint) but it is in the books.

Personally I love this trend and plan on flushing out the neon. Some people cheat and run spacers while some do it right and run the correct rim offset.

www.hellaflush.com is also a great website.

Yeah, everything I want is in the wrong bolt pattern. So I guess its time to hit the drawing board with some custom 16x8 steel wheels... ;)
