WRONGI meant 1jz and sourcing the parts properly and doing my own work I could get it pretty close. I would source the cage and paint to my buddy Steak on the cheap. Would have to find the wheels and the kit would be a knockoff but its fine. Hardest party would be a shell but I could find a blown motor s2000 for no more 8000. Ive done similar swaps into an r32 skyline and an ae86 corolla. Im not going to argue but it can be done. Thanks for playing and that is what I want.neonslg09 wrote:WRONG. that would put you over 20k for sure. and you want the 2JZGTE motor. not 1jz. but good thinkinrandomZERO wrote:S2000,1jz swapped with full veilside kit painted bassboat red on work meister s1s with retarded offset. I'd buy the bottom one, just to start, for the Roush: http://www.advancedenginedevelopment.com/engines.html 800+ RWHP will be just fine for me.
I'd probably still have enough for a big brake swap, full length SFC's, line-lock, DR's, STB, K-Member brace and so on...

Id get a '68 Chevelle coupe, '96 Impala, '94-'96 Caprice 9C1, an avenger wouldnt be bad either

No need for getting your panties in a bunch. I was just saying that its pretty super hard to do what your doing for under 20k. The shell would be around ~5k. Your 1jz motor itself will prolly be a 1k~. Your paint, would be ridiculous, 5k~ by a good shop. Hard tops aint cheap. Another 1.5k~ for rims/tires. Finding parts = time consuming, pricey. Taking risks buying used parts as well. But eh, you know where most of the money is going... Taco Bell.randomZERO wrote:WRONGI meant 1jz and sourcing the parts properly and doing my own work I could get it pretty close. I would source the cage and paint to my buddy Steak on the cheap. Neonslg09, no bunched panties over here. *hugs*. Just saying with friends like mine and the know how it can be done. New parts or used parts you always take a chance modding but that's the fun. I don't want a 5000 dollar paint job as the car will be beat on pretty fiercly, more like 500 dollar paint job since the aero will come of when doing third gear entry in a sweaper sideways with strippers hanging out the top suckin my....... Lol sorry got carried away. Like I said it would be close but I would still have a 20 spot for some tacobell. These are dream threads anyways as we live in America and everyone is broke.

If I cracked up my Neon tomorrow, that is the only car on the market that I'd consider. There are still two leftover 09's at a dealership near where I work, one red and one black. They are damn sweet and the 2010 body style doesn't look nearly as good as the older one.MoxHair wrote:I'd find my Mazdaspeed 3 and buy it back.
