k this is on a honda due to the fact my neon is parked for snow season but now i wish learnt my lesson for buying a honda as a winter beater... hears the problem it keeps over heating i put three new thermostats into it new hoses (not that that part is important) new rad cap and new water pump the rad fans are workin and it over heats when you run a constant rpm on the highway or idleling at a stop sign when it over heats you grab the top rad hose its as hot as fire grab the bottom rad hose its cold as ice now the thermostat is located in the bottom rad hose also so for shits and giggles i took the thermostat out completly and and it runs at normal temputure when idleing but to cold any other time now but now both rad hoses are hot... im completly stumped now its a 1990 honda accord suggestons would be help fun and yes blowing it up/ burning it to the ground are at the top of the list right away...

have you tried flushing it out with a hose? flush the block and the radiator separately and see if either one backs up. (indicating a blockage)
have you tried a lower temp thermostat?

Is there a bypass hose that goes into the t'stat housing to heat it up? Because if it relies solely on flow from the radiator, it isn't going to open. If there is a bypass hose, and it is blocked, or is plumbed backwards through the heater core, then that is the problem. I have no clue if this even applies, but that's my theory.

Probably shouldn't listen to anything your penis says, that guy's a dick.
Too much time spent here is a sign of a bad case of Ownaneonvirus.Patience, of course, is a very powerful weapon, but sometimes I start to regret that it is not a firearm.
