02 Rear lip
02 Rear lip
Anyone know of any rear lips for an 00 to 02 rear bumper?

I agree with OP. The xenon lip is not worth it, and it is ugly as hell.
For a more subtle and cleaner look, go for the mopar lip like slaw mentioned.

All you need is a drill, heat gun, mounting hardware that comes with lip, and about 3 hours, (or more if you need to measure more times to get it correct.)

You like how what looks on the rear? Talking about the Mopar rear lip?TheRandom1 wrote:Damn I really love the way it looks on the 00-02 rear... how much more difficult is it to do than on an 03-05 rear?
If so, then just remove the bumper and place it on something to make it face upwards (ie a stack of tires / milk crates/ etc)
You do a test fit of the lip on the bumper and then you mark the spots where the drilled holes match up. Then take the lip off, and drill those marked spots (I forgot the size of drill).
*Note: do not remove the plastic adhesive part yet until after everything is done.
Start by bolting the 2 middle bolts only, then using a heat gun, slowly heat the bends and mold them to hug the bumper by pushing down on the curves of the lip. This may take at least an hour, and make sure to wear heavy duty gloves so you can push down on the lip's bends without burning your hand.
As you slowly make the lip bend and hug outward, bolt the nuts as you go along the edge toward the ends. After you bolt everything on, I'd recommend you leave it like that for a few days before you remove the plastic adhesive thing leading to the sticky part, just to make sure it is permanently in that shape.
After you think the lip is ready and permanent, slightly remove the lip just so you have enough space to remove the plastic adhesive and then push down to make it stick all around the bumper. Bolt everything up and you're good to go.

Yea they look exactly like the Srt Acr wheels..
Anywho I like the "type r" rear lip cuz its different, might look even better if it was lowered (4x4=FAIL)...
IMO the mopar lip kit is played out... Too many folks with it and everyone seems to want it.. Yea it looks good and all but most of the neons look the same now, just in different color..

I agree with you. No one around here has anything done to their Neon (only SRT-4's). I get looks all the time and people always wonder if I'm driving an SRT-4 around because they don't ever see any modded Neons.bigbird wrote:Maybe on this site, however I've only seen one other neon in person with the Mopar lip kit.z3roneo wrote:
