TheRandom1's cursed Neons thread

Post by TheRandom1 » Fri Oct 30, 2009 8:15 pm

So, a little over a year ago I got into an accident. This falls under the BRR curse (wrecked Neons thread, look it up) however, what happened afterwards does not. So I figured I'd start my own thread.

My car was severely half-assed by the repair shop paid to "fix" the car. Pics are all over the place.

I say everybody who has had shitty body repair work done, post it up here!

Well its not body work but a repair shop.

I had a shop that it took 4 times just to get the thing aligned. They tried to tell me that it was because of my aftermarket rims that it wouldn't align right. I have the factory silver stones.

^^ True, a Colbalt is about as cursed as a neon can get!

It's having an identity crisis, nothing a little lithuim and prozac won't cure.

After being hit n' runned, I replaced my front bumper and fender from products found at certifit and it's perfect.

I would never go a shop to get things done. lol

not body work, but i had a bad clutch on Sasha, the shop i took it to said the synchros were toast in the transmission, so they charged me over $1,000 to put a "new" transmission in that they got from a junkyard. had the car for over a week, got it back, it was doing the SAME EXACT THING AS BEFORE I DROPPED IT OFF. so i went back, told them, they said drive it for a couple days, couple days went by, went back again and told them it was still jacked up. they said they'd give me "a discount on replacing the clutch" i told them to fuck off and bought a clutch, buddy of mine and i did it one morning after a graveyard shift, problem solved.

Can't really post in here other than I am one of the lucky ones... I tell people that the car was in an accident and they are surprised. When they ask and I tell them who fixed it (because it was perfect) they are no longer surprised.

Everyone knows that for breasts to be "perfect" they need to be within reach.
