My 'custom' Rustoleum color cost $82 because I had to buy double the paint to mix.

Looks like we have a rustoleum-"hatter"

It only looks like that because it isn't wetsanded with 2000 grit and buffed yet. That is just the bare paint as it is and it isn't a finished picture. And it was Jeff's first time doing it, he didn't practice much. I taught him that in a few minutes lol. Me, however, practiced on a few things before did mines.

He can have the car re-titled for a small fee. At least in RI you pay 51.50 for a new title if you lose yours for any reason. And why does it need a megasquirt, you really don't see SRT owners using those.

That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard.....what is it a non-SRT PCM? Or a non-programmed PCM?

I was wondering about the door handles too. It seems like inevitably they will crack. Molding plastic to metal isn't a great idea. I hope for your sake that it hold up though.

they are bondoed in and then on top on that they got fiberglassed to make a smoother finish
the only way they should crack is if they are hit hard
i know all about bondo lol its only good for a filler not the final lay down

When do you plan to try out the rustoleum technique?

I just remembered that it's best to do this kind of paint job during the summer when it's very warm outside. But now it's fall/winter so it would probably take longer to dry/cure.

A heater still won't help you, I would wait until the weather is warm enough to do it the right way.

Those bondo'd handles will crack over time from vibration.

You're safer off shaving them completely. Oh well, nice effort though...
