Any UTI Graduates

Post by mikeb818 » Wed Nov 04, 2009 9:39 pm

I was wondering if any of you have gone to UTI and graduated. If so i was curious on how long it took you to find a career after graduation and what the salary is and if it was worth it. i am really looking into going there next year once i finish high school

UNOH is one of the few decent tech schools. UTI is okay but they are after your money make no mistake

Honestly if your just looking an automotive then just go to a local college that has it but if your into high performance like drag racing, circle track, autocross, off-roading then i'd really consider UNOH. I have been at UNOH for 2 years and have learned alot about the high performance field. I think it is a great experience. That is my .02. Also let me add you can get an diploma, associates, or bachelors in any field may it be auto, high po, diesel. Plus you can be auto/diesel or auto/high po or all three and even add on alternative fuels. I would not settle for a certificate of graduate like UTI offers.

I would just take a few classes at a local junior college. I graduated from wyotech and while it taught me a lot, being in a shop and seeing everyday problems taught me so much more. Now I'm paying student loans forever when I could of just took a few classes and worked in a shop at the same time.

But going to wyotech is what got me this job. It was actually the first one I looked for.
