help convince me to keep the neons.

So today I ran into a steal that I'm finding really hard to pass up. there is a 93.5 toyota supra about three towns over from me for 10K with 9800 miles on it. the car is in amazing condition and it runs great considering a 58 year old owns it. The best part is it is completely stock. I was contemplating selling both neons to buy the supra or should I just keep the neons. I really don't think this deal will last but I want some answers before I make any rash decisions.

my buddy had a non turbo'd supra, slow as shit, wasnt even that fun to drive. Then again neons arent fast either, and arent as rare.

it would help if i had some encouragement cause I collected a lot of parts to put the r/t to turbo and if I get the supra i have to get rid of everything but I think I'm going to keep the neons if I can not get a bank to loan me 10K on top of of school loan.

i would say keep the neon, look at all the $$ you spend on this car, you wont get anything near what you paid for the car and then the parts if you sell it. and as stated above i know a guy also that had a supra ( but it was a 86) and a atx not sure what engine was in it i know it was a 3. something I6 which ever was the bigger I6 they put in it i think. and it was slow as hell, my old 95 neon sport beat it every time.

Neons have terrible wheel spin because of it being FWD.

Supras have insane power and it's hard to keep it from spinning.

Supras are NOT overrated. Fastest things ever

i might be wrong at this but isnt a rx7 faster then a supra?

thats not 100% true you can have a really fast car and loose to a really slow car like a neon, if you dont know how to drive.

For the export model (America/Europe) Toyota upgraded the Supra turbo's engine (smaller, steel wheeled turbochargers, bigger fuel injectors, etc.). I'd rather have a n/a Supra over a Neon.

It's faster...more upgrades that actually make power and over all a cooler car.

It is RWD... which automatically makes it better than the Neon.

Take a stock turbo supra. Put decent rear tires on it, and a boost controller, run 12's.

i think it would be cheaper keeping the neons with gas as well but the extra $ you spend you get huge results and you can also drift the supra if you can afford tires and if the car has the 2gjze engine the motor alone you can easyly get $10k out of it
if it was me i love my noen but dont even copare to a supra

Dude get the supra! I traded my neon for an Audi and don't regret it for a second, yes my neon was way faster, but it drove like a truck compared to the audi. I had terrible traction and the interior in a neon is terrible. The audi interior is a dream in comparison.
