very sexy truck you found right there. I love 60's to 80's Rams they are amazing. You also have a lot of potential you can milk out of that 318. Stock they came from the factory with forged internals but i couldn't tell you how much boost they can handle but i do know they love to spin 8,000rpms all day long. Please i beg of you do not bag the poor thing if you want to bag something get a pos s-10, ranger, b2000, etc. Don't ruin that perfectly good truck.

bagging is out of the question it need to be able to haul my quad so i dont want to spend that much money iam gonna spray it all black fix the small rust hole and call it a day.. maybe some newer wheels not aftermarket though. I know it will blow the tires off as is lol. the motor has 120k not bad for the year.

thank you so much for saying bagging is out of the question. The only thing i would worry about it with that many miles is the condition of the cam seeing as trucks back then had soft cams from the factory i would prolly spend 186 bucks on an rv cam and prolly get double roller timing chain.

All of those trucks are perfectly good trucks too or is it just because it's not a Dodge that it's a POS?

I just don't like full size trucks that are bagged. Yes i do like dodge out of all car and truck makers but thats my choice. I don't like mini trucks so yes all mini trucks are pos to me. I like high horsepower vehicles for the street and strip not something that just lays frame.

Not my style but is still a sharp looking 86ish year ram. I prolly would of gone with lowering it some but not slammed like that and ran some nice wide and tall tires on the rear. I would of kept a lil bit of rake on it since it's a truck. Hell i wish i had a front bumper in that nice of condition too those things are expensive to find like that.

I think the point he was getting at is... just because your favorite is Dodge. It does not make Toyotas and Nissans pieces of shit.
They're not your thing but they are by no means pieces of shit.
