What all do i need to swap my 04 sxt to rear disc? I found an 02 R/T in the junk yard (R.I.P.) Im picking up the motor and trans tomorrow...YAY! so i figured i would grab the rear disc setup while I'm at it, let me know, thanks.

rear knuckles, calipers, brake lines (the rubber parts), parking brake cables, and the R/T proportioning valve. those are the big things... i would just take anything related or attached.

Knuckles are not needed.

yes save mucho time and just take the calipers, backing plate and hubs if you want them the hubs aren't needed. I wish i knew that doing my swap

Oy. this has been covered 11ty billion times... And DON'T swap the knuckle, that's pointless. You'll just end up breaking that long bolt.

I would grab the hubs though, that way you don't have to worry about seperating yours from the drums if they're rusted together like mine were.

ha!tell me about it. mine weren't but Dan's were this weekend. I still wouldn't do it though bc you WILL break the long bolt. It's inevitable. We spray the hell out of the center of the drums where it meets the hub/bearing with PB Blaster then took two pry bars between the drum and backing plate and after about 20 minutes of whacking with a BFH they came off.
